According the customs data, xiamen dock exported 191,000 tons of canned mushroom in 2003,valued at US$0.16 billion, increased by 21.7% and 19.1% seperately, the export quantity acccounted for more than 70% of the total national export, xiamen has become the largest canned mushroom export dock. The main reason for increasing lie in the rapid expanding of the industry scale and industrialization.
